An effluent waste holding tank is a self-contained holding tank, most commonly found on larger construction sites where a toilet block has no access to plumb into the mains sewage system, instead the entirety of the contents of the toilet block is emptied into a waste holding tank and once full the whole thing is emptied.

A septic tank is more commonly found in remote residential settings where access to the mains sewer system is restricted, residential properties will be plumbed into a septic tank which over a period of time allows the liquid waste to filter into the ground surrounding the area leaving the “sludge” behind in the tank.

We need to be able to park our tanker within 25m of the tank to empty it on site.

Unfortunately not, our licences and consent from United Utilities have strict limits on what we can discharge into the system, as such we can only collect effluent waste.

How long is a piece of string? This varies on how often the toilet block connected to the waste tank is used and by how many people. However we can work with you to create an emptying schedule that works best, whether that be fortnightly, weekly, daily or every other day.
