In February the Challenger Drivers took part in and completed their annual Driver CPC training day. We upgraded our vehicle tracking software to provide instant locations of our vehicles to improve efficiency and customer service and we received an acknowledgment and had our photograph shown on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch alongside hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer.
Robert has made a full recovery.
In April Challenger Site Services took delivery of a brand new 4x4 service vehicle and the team successfully completed their annual Health and Safety review and passed with glowing colours.
In May Challenger successfully renewed the CHAS Application.
In June we expanded our Hire desk team and recruited a new member - Nicola.
In August the Challenger Year End was the best ever since we were established. We took delivery of our new 2000G Tanker, committed to the Willow Wood Hospice 99ers Business Network and received a visit from the Leader of the Council, Councillor Kieran Quinn and his team.
In September we pre ordered 2 more vehicles for the Challenger Fleet. Achieved the Theo Paphitis SBS Award and also won the Twitter Bright Pig Award. Both logos can be viewed on our website and Twitter feeds.
In November Challenger Site Services successfully completed a customer audit from one of our biggest customers and we received a new member of staff, Sarah who joined us as the Sales & Customer Account Manager.
Finally... In December we bought more toilets for the start of 2016 and we ran the first Challenger ‘tweet a loo’ competition won by Mercian Electrical. We have ended the year by joining The Tameside Means Business campaign launched by Tameside Council.
